Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Insurance Verification Specialist to join our growing healthcare support team. This role is responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits, checking claim statuses, and ensuring accurate documentation of all verification activities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Job Details

• Work Arrangement: Work from Home
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Manila time)

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility by contacting insurance companies and reviewing online payer portals
• Ensure all verification and eligibility details are accurate and complete within contracted timelines
• Maintain a structured system for initial and subsequent benefit verifications
• Prepare and update individual patient files and related documentation using a HIPAA-compliant system
• Generate daily activity reports for verification of benefits (VOB) tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with all HIPAA and HITECH standards
• Perform other related or ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Office 365
• Strong background in Accounts Receivable, including follow-ups and appeals
• Understanding of HCPCS and CPT codes
• Experience with facility and laboratory billing (UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms)
• Familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH regulations
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity
