Medical Billing Specialist

Job Description
- Encodes medical bills such as pharmacy, physical therapy, pathology, radiology, DME, anesthesia, med-legal, and other bills using IQ Review System.
- Meet daily production quotas in analyzing and processing medical bill with prevailing fee schedule/UCR guidelines. Select proper PPO network based on client instructions.
- Add or update Provider and Claim information as appropriate.
- Know how to follow client instructions and other training material to proper review medical bills.
- Provide quality review on work as specified by the Supervisor.
- Proactively identify system and/or bill review issues and provide feedback to supervisors or manager.
- Other duties assigned.
- At least 2 years college level or higher
- Able to work at any shift schedule.
- Ability to work on a hybrid schedule while meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Has knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Has knowledge in Medical Terminology such as CPT / ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding
- With or without Experience in Medical Bill Review
- Proficiency with 10-Key by touch. Some typing ability.
