A. Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of identifying necessary improvements.

B. Supervises the installation or repair of systems and/or components (e.g. Fire alarm, electrical and air conditioning control equipment, conduit, speed shutter door, ducting, boiler, air compressor, motors, bells, clocks, lightings, gutters, flooring, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects safely and within established time frames.

C. Prepares documentation (e.g. requisitions, purchase orders, Equipment specs, technical data sheet etc.) for the reference of technical data and specification.

D. Propose machine modification design, Facility modification design and new machine or equipment

E. Prepare Schedule and Plan of activity for All Engineering projects.

F. Estimates materials and/or equipment needed to complete work projects for the purpose of ensuring timely completion of projects.

G. Provides the Engineering Manager with regular written and/or oral summaries of work in progress, facility operational status and any unusual or unforeseen conditions encountered in the course of maintenance or construction activities.

H. Develop and implement training assessments, training programs and encourage the development of knowledge and skills of maintenance and operation personnel.

I. May work irregular hours and respond to emergency conditions, on call supervisor.

J. In charge of new machine setup, Complex maintenance activity, Construction projects, machine modification and all CAPEX projects. Ensure timely completion of project and respond to issues and concerns.

K. Monitor and controls, repair and maintenance cost of the plant, Initiate cost saving action.

L. In charge of renewal and completion of test requirements for DOLE mandated permits (BFP, Electrical, Mechanical)


II. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Responsible for on time accomplishment of plant projects from job inquiry, approvals and scheduling till completion.

B. Directing other employee for completion of work orders, pest control findings, failed micro test corrective action and government compliance requirements.

C. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment, purchase parts.

D. Attend and participate in alignment meetings; maintain awareness of new trends and developments in the field of operation and maintenance; incorporate new developments as appropriate into programs.
