Position Summary

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting housing and economic market data to inform and support marketing and sales strategies and stakeholder communications. The primary focus of this role is conducting in-depth market research utilizing primary sources, government databases, and industry reports. The coordinator will translate complex data into clear, insightful reports, newsletters, and content for various communication channels, including video scripts, social media, and investor updates.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the company and its stakeholders stay informed on relevant market trends, economic indicators, and housing data. In addition to research and data analysis, the role involves crafting concise and impactful communication pieces that convey key findings and market insights, aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough housing and economic market research, collecting data from primary sources, government databases, industry reports, and other reliable resources.
  • Analyze and interpret market trends, economic indicators, and demographic data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and briefings that summarize market research findings for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Develop standardized templates and content for investor communications, market reports, and client updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Create written content for newsletters, reports, presentations, and scripts for video and telecommunication materials, clearly communicating complex data in an accessible format.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify data needs and tailor research efforts to support specific projects and business objectives.
  • Work with graphic designers to develop charts, infographics, and visual aids that enhance the presentation of data and insights.
  • Monitor and track key housing and economic data trends, maintaining a database of up-to-date information for ongoing analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure communication materials reflect the company’s brand and strategic messaging while delivering valuable insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of client communication campaigns that incorporate timely market insights and data-driven storytelling.
  • Manage time-sensitive research requests and deliver findings under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working outside of normal business hours when necessary to meet project and communication deadlines.
  • Perform additional research and communication duties as needed to support the company’s market intelligence and communication strategy.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Market Research, Data Analytics, Business Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or economic research, preferably within housing, real estate, or financial sectors.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Experience creating reports, and communication materials that distill research findings for broad audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data reporting and content development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
