  • Ensures that all accountabilities and reportorial requirements in the Project Financing and/or Loan Covenants are complied with.
  • Prepares compliance periodical reports to Lenders including but not limited to:
  • Interim financial statements
  • Loan Covenant compliance
  • Assist in the drafting of correspondences with Lenders, BOI, BIR, SEC, DOE or LGU.
  • Ensures that performance bonds and other similar requirements of regulatory bodies are obtained on a timely basis.
  • Monitor timely payment of payables to borrowers/lenders, government institutions, suppliers or contractors.
  • Preparation of account schedules and reconciliations for tax audits and other related inquiries.
  • Assists in compliance audits as well as day to day compliance and provides feedback to the management.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly and special reports on status of BIR audits, VAT claims and status of court cases relating to taxes.
  • Assists in the timely filing of administrative claim for VAT refund as well as judicial claims.
  • Assists in ensuring the complete documentation required for VAT claims and follow up and monitoring of the status of the VAT claims.
  • Assists in the conversion of Tax Credit Certificates into Tax Debit Memo and its timely application against the Company’s tax liabilities.
  • Ensures and monitors timely filing of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns (VAT, Withholding taxes, Income tax, and other applicable tax types), and timely remittance of corresponding tax amounts.
  • Dissemination of existing and new regulations relating to scope of work on a timely manner.
  • Assists in the preparation and submission of reports to BIR, SEC, BOI and other government agencies.
  • Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role. X

  • Conforms to the company’s Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Information Security Management Systems policies, standards, procedures and guidelines based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 Standards. X

Reports Occupational Health and Safety and Information Security events/incidents or potential events or other security risks to the organization. X

  • Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference. X
  • Preserves confidentiality of financial information and material. X

As used herein, the term "financial information and material” shall mean all Company information both written and oral which is proprietary to Hedcor Group. It shall include without limitation: the company's organization, company's operations, interests and plans, financial documents, business records, business practices and procedures. It also includes external source documents as integral part of the financial documents. X

  • Neither he/she nor anyone within his/her control will disclose or use, in any manner, any financial information or materials unless:
  • Required in the conduct of the company's ordinary course of business, or
  • Authorized by the company in writing, or
  • Ordered by a court of law X
  • Complies with company policies and procedures, safety rules and practices. X
  • Conforms to the company’s Integrated Management Systems, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.

Reports any Integrated Management System events/incidents or potential events or other risks to the organization.

  • Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference by:
  • Storing documents, forms, contracts, manuals, books and other documents to locked storage rooms/steel cabinets.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all plant records necessary for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Experience (No. of Years) Professional: At least two (2) years of related experience

Project Experience:

Capabilities Attention to detail with accurate data entry skill.

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to collaborate cross-functionally;

Ability to work independently as well as within a group;

Proficient in Microsoft Excel;

Highly motivated and self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy preferably with background in Taxation

License Required Certificate Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Accountancy.
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • With strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience in taxation.
  • One (1) vacant position available in Ayala, Makati.
