Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

a) Source and secure tenants for vacant units. No commission shall be granted as the role is covered by the monthly salary.

b) Contact brokers to follow up on available rental spaces and property listings.

c) Collect rental payments and forward them to the messenger (Myrick) for deposit.

d) Report all irregularities, events, and problems immediately to the Managing Director.

e) Ensure that all lease contracts are strictly followed.

f) Manage tenants with expiring contracts and handle eviction procedures for those delinquent in payments.

g) Ensure the checkbook is filled out neatly and without any erasures.

h) Prepare a Statement of Account (SOA) for each tenant, including both new and renewal contracts.

i) Prepare individual vouchers for all payables (e.g., Meralco, PLDT, association dues, payroll, and petty cash).

b) Create individual vouchers for all payables, such as BIR and RPT payments.

j) Require postdated cheques for all rentals from the start of the lease period. GCash or other electronic payments will not be accepted for monthly rentals.

k) The Collection Officer has no authority to alter or modify any business procedures unless approved in writing by the Managing Director.

l) Inform the Administrative Officer immediately of any delays in monthly rental payments.

m) Strict compliance is required regarding the handling of postdated cheques and other financial procedures. Disciplinary measures may be imposed for violations.

n) For all contract renewals and new tenants, postdated cheques are required.


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of a 4-year College Degree preferably in the fields related to Banking and Finance / Economics / Accounting / Management / Business/ Marketing   
  • Should be familiar with credit and financial concepts, procedures, and processes typically used in leasing and other financial institutions.    
  • With at least 2 years of work experience in a similar profession (collection and lease transaction)  
  • Analytical and with keen attention to details
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent English communications skills both Written and Oral
  • Pro-active and has a positive work attitude
  • Team player but can work with minimum supervision
