Software Engineer – Warehouse Management System Support (Manhattan)

Location: Taguig (Onsite)

Salary: PHP 90,000 – PHP 120,000 (Gross Monthly, Negotiable)

Work Schedule: Shifting | 24x7 Support | On-call Required


Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer – WMS Support to provide high-quality, proactive production and application support for Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related analytics and data platforms. This role focuses on incident management, system stability, and continuous improvement while working closely with internal teams and external vendors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for WMS configuration items, including incident resolution, minor enhancements, and permanent fixes
  • Monitor and respond to production incidents within SLA timelines and escalate as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and data pipelines built on Azure, GCP, Java, and JavaScript
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues
  • Create, maintain, and update solution documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Perform proactive monitoring and support activities to prevent incidents
  • Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support ad hoc requests and contribute to functional and project-based tasks as needed


Required Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • 3–4 years of experience in application or production support
  • Strong technical background in the following areas:
  • Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake), Google Cloud Platform (DataFlow, Composer)
  • Programming: Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript (React)
  • Messaging and integration: Kafka, MQ, Stonebranch, ESP, APIs
  • Databases: Azure DB, DB2
  • Data formats: XML, JSON
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to work onsite in Taguig under a 24x7 support model, including weekends and holidays


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience working in support-driven and fast-paced environments
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team
