- Assist with daily prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking duties.
- Prepare and portion ingredients as directed by chefs.
- Support the production of house-made items, including pizza doughs and fresh pastas, when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.
- Previous kitchen experience (minimum 6 months preferred).
- Familiarity with preparing pizza dough and/or fresh pasta is an asset.
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction and multitask under pressure.
