Job Description
- Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure proper food storage and labeling.
- Report any kitchen supply shortages or equipment issues.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong discretion, knowledge of kitchen hygiene, reliable stewarding practices, and proficiency in mise-en-place.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with potential for long shifts.
- Qualities and Traits: Team-oriented, detail-focused, reliable, and a passion for food.
