We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Key Accounts Officer to manage and grow key client relationships for the sale of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) and Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) blocks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction materials sector, a strong network with real estate developers, contractors, architects, and consultants, and a proven track record in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Management

  • Manage relationships with key accounts including large developers, contractors, and government bodies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

2. Sales & Business Development

  • Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company's footprint in the market.
  • Achieve sales targets by promoting AAC and CLC blocks and related products to decision-makers in the construction ecosystem.

3. Project Tracking & Conversion

  • Track upcoming construction projects and map potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet client expectations.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations, orders, and feedback.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales progress, and market challenges.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of the construction materials industry (preferably AAC blocks)
  • Relationship-building ability with B2B clients
  • Technical aptitude to understand product specifications and applications
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in building materials or construction
  • Experience dealing with architects, builders, and contractors is essential
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience with AAC blocks or lightweight construction materials
  • Familiarity with government and private construction tender processes
  • Local market knowledge and network in the real estate and infrastructure sectors

Work Schedule:

  • Monday: 8am to 5pm – Office
  • Tuesday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (Flexi Schedule) – project sites, client offices, and market saturation (as per assigned area)
