Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of laptop management, focusing on macOS devices while also supporting Windows systems. The successful candidate will provide technical support, manage asset inventory, ensure compliance with IT policies, and work closely with internal departments to deliver high-quality end-user support and device management services.


Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Technical Support & Device Management

  • Set up brand new laptops (Mac and Windows), including necessary software installation.
  • Reformat secondhand devices to prepare them for reuse.
  • Recommend appropriate device specifications based on business user requirements.
  • Register Apple devices with Apple Business Manager (ABM).
  • Perform regular asset health checks and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Monitor and report on asset inventory in collaboration with clients.
  • Provide Level 1 technical support for laptops, desktops, and computer peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues; escalate complex issues to vendors as necessary.
  • Coordinate with vendors and assist clients in communication for service-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with asset endorsement and surrender procedures (onboarding and exit processes) in collaboration with HR & Admin.

Training, Documentation, and Collaboration

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on device usage and care.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation such as user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with the IT Department to align laptop configurations with company network and security policies.
  • Participate in company initiatives including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and suggest necessary upgrades or replacements.


Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology Management.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in:

  • Customer Service Support
  • MacBook Technical Support
  • IT Helpdesk
  • Networking
  • Project Management


Job Type: Full-time

  • Parañaque: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:
