We are seeking a highly experienced Inventory/Asset Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management to oversee and optimize the inventory and asset management processes for our construction projects. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to flexible scheduling. This role requires a strong background in construction asset management, procurement, and logistics to ensure the efficient utilization and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory and asset management strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Track and monitor the movement of assets across multiple project sites to ensure accountability.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory and assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and site engineers to forecast material and equipment needs.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of inventory levels, asset conditions, and stock usage to prevent loss or shortages.
  • Implement asset lifecycle management, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and disposal of obsolete equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company guidelines related to asset handling and storage.
  • Utilize inventory management software and reporting tools to generate insights and optimize asset utilization.
  • Train and supervise staff involved in asset and inventory management to ensure efficient operations.
  • Respond to urgent asset needs and adjust schedules as required to support project demands.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on inventory and asset management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control systems, procurement processes, and asset tracking methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to flexible work schedules, including occasional weekend and night shifts.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, tools, and materials is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in the construction industry.
