The challenge is to

Primary as Storage Admin:

Storage Management:

1. Implement and manage storage solutions to meet the organization's data storage needs.

Configure, install, and maintain various storage technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage).

2. Plan and manage storage capacity and performance.

3. Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization and proactively address any issues.

4. Develop and maintain storage policies, procedures, internal KT and documentation.

Data Protection and Backup/Recovery:

1. Implement and maintain backup and restore protocols.

2. Ensure data availability and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery planning.

3. Test and validate backup and recovery processes.

Security:

1. Implement and maintain storage security measures (e.g., access controls, encryption).

2. Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.

Troubleshooting and Support:

1. Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.

2. Provide technical support to users and other IT staff.

Collaboration:

1. Work closely with IT teams to ensure efficient storage utilization and data protection.

2. Collaborate with other IT professionals to maintain data security, availability, and accessibility.

Specific Technologies:

1. Proficiency in various storage technologies, such as RAID configurations, and be able to determine the appropriate storage solution for the company's needs.

2. Experience with specific storage platforms .

3. Familiarity with storage protocols (e.g., NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, Fiber Channel).

Other:

1. Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization.

2. Proactively address any issues to maintain optimal storage performance and availability.

3. Participate in the planning and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.

Do you have experience in Storage Administration?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer / Information Technology or relevant course study

• Should have at least 5 years of solid Windows System and Storage administration experience (AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS and the like)

• Experience in Active Directory designing, engineering and implementation like migration from old Forest Domain to new Forest Domain is a big plus

• Must have knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and administering Cloud environments like Azure, AWS and GCP

• Strong knowledge of VMWare and Nutanix Virtualization, Veeam Backup and Cohesity Backup

• Knowledge of Graylog, Zabbix, and CheckMK is an advantage

• Knowledge of Qualys Vulnerability Remediations

• Knowledge in Automation or Scripting

• Knowledge of Storage Administration – managing and maintaining data storage systems, ensuring data availability, integrity, and security through configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Technical Certification is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English

• Highly analytical and able to resolve multiple priorities

• Strong attention to details

• Able to adapt to a fast-changing and multi-cultural environment

• A team player with a good sense of ownership and commitment
