Description

  • Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles
  • Performing test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problem exists and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
  • Completing preventive maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids and replacing brakes.
  • Repairing damage to the body of the vehicle and washing and painting the vehicle exteriors
  • Generating timelines and maintenance for repairs
  • Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to vehicles’ parts and service history
  • Performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Performing other task as instructed
  • Perform maintenance and repair on industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Document repair and maintenance activities accurately.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational trainings or technical certification in heavy equipment repair
  • Must have 3-6 years experience proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift).
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
