The Senior Immigration Specialist is responsible for providing expert guidance and support to foreign nationalsand corporate clients seeking to obtain visas for entry and residence in the Philippines. This role requires deep knowledge of Philippine immigration laws and processes, as well as the ability to navigate complex government regulations. The Visa Specialist will interact with clients, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure a smooth, timely, and compliant visa application process. Additionally, the role includes monitoring visa expirations, processing renewals, and staying current on changes to immigration policies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation and Guidance:

  • Advise foreign nationals on the necessary documentation required for their visa applications and ensure smooth processing.
  • Assess visa needs for expatriates before and after their arrival in the Philippines.
  • Provide personalized advice on visa requirements, including work permits, residence visas, and renewals.
  • Cater to inquiries and concerns from clients regarding Philippine visa services and immigration laws.


2. Visa Processing:

  • Prepare and submit visa applications to the Bureau of Immigration, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and other relevant agencies.
  • Liaise with government agencies to facilitate the processing of various visa types.
  • Personally handle transactions and follow-ups with immigration and labor departments to expedite approvals.
  • Manage and track visa expiration dates for corporate clients and ensure timely renewals.


3. Regulatory Compliance and Updates:

  • Monitor changes in Philippine immigration regulations and proactively update clients on the latest requirements.
  • Provide recommendations to clients on how to adapt to new rules and policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor and immigration laws, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements for visa applications.


4. Client and Government Interaction:

  • Communicate with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings to assist with visa inquiries, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Work closely with HR teams of corporate clients to manage visa requirements for expatriate employees.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the efficient handling of client requests and inquiries.


5. Document Preparation and Submission:

  • Collect, review, and prepare all necessary documents for visa applications.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation submitted to government agencies.
  • Maintain detailed records of all visa applications, supporting documents, and
  • communication with clients and government entities.


6. Invoicing and Reporting:

  • Prepare and issue invoices for visa services provided, ensuring timely billing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to visa services, renewals, and other immigration-related activities.


7. Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay updated on all new developments in Philippine immigration law and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain an expert level of knowledge in visa services.
  • Share best practices and new information with the team to enhance the quality of services offered.
