Description

The Human Resources Manager of Vantage Equities supports the full scope of all Human Resources facets of the Group's subsidiaries, specifically in the strategic areas of Recruitment, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, and all other facets of HR in alignment with the strategic business direction of the company.


Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Human Resource Management

  • Designs/creates, executes and ensures that all HR Strategies, systems, structures, policies, and processes are linked and aligned with Company’s VMV, business directions and goals
  • Champions and/or implements employee programs, intervention, and organization development initiatives that are aligned to company values and goals
  • Acquires and retains the right kind of people, in the right number, in the right jobs, at the right price at any given time
  • Develops and harnesses critical competencies among identified leaders and talents through performance management and succession planning
  • Strengthens partnership with Line Leaders in building organizational capability and the culture of service, excellence, and human capital effectiveness


People Management

  • Organizes, manages, evaluates, and supervises effective functioning of the department consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and values
  • Delegates responsibilities and farms out projects that will cultivate and maximize direct report's potential
  • Ensures direct reports compliance to the company policies and procedures
  • Monitors performance milestones, conducts performance appraisal review and discussions, and provides timely and constructive performance feedback to subordinates
  • Maps out developmental plans for direct reports and subordinates to ensure availability of succession pipeline


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Behavioral Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as HR Manager. With operational or consulting HR work experience is an advantage
  • Technical Competencies: Strategic Human Resources Management, Organizational Capability and Development, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Analytical Thinking
  • Leadership Competencies: Strategic Thinking, Business Acumen, Leading Change, Driving Results, People Management
  • Skills and Attributes: Systems Thinking, Critical Thinking, Creative, Innovative, Techno-Savvy, Strategic/Forward Thinking, Multi-tasking/multi-project management skills
