  • Can perform hair- related service like cutting, styling, coloring and treating hair and scalp for client to meet their preferences and hair type
  • A high school diploma
  • Professional experience
  • Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, desired styles or treatments.
  • Perform haircuts, trimming, coloring, highlighting, permanent waving / curling, straightening, and other styling services.
  • Provide hair and scalp treatments (e.g. deep conditioning, keratin treatment, and hair repair treatments) as needed.
  • Shampoo, blow-dry, iron, style hair according to client’s request and salon standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, workstation, and salon environment.
  • Ensure proper use, preparation, and safekeeping of all hair dressing materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Stay updated on latest hair styles, coloring, trends, and techniques; continuously improve professional skills.
  • Advise clients on hair care products, after-treatment care, and maintenance to preserve style/health of hair.
  • Recommend additional services or upsell products when appropriate, maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
