Backend Development Engineer (Web3 / Prediction Market)

Participate in building a decentralized prediction and betting market (referencing Polymarket), responsible for core platform backend development.

Main responsibilities include: user fund flow, on-chain wallet and deposit services, clearing ledger, matching and settlement logic, and multi-chain node interactions.

You will work with the core team to build a high-concurrency, highly reliable on-chain financial system from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services in Go, including the API layer, wallet service, ledger system, and task scheduling modules.

• Develop high-performance gRPC microservices for internal communication and on-chain interactions.

• Implement and optimize Go channel concurrency models to ensure stable execution of fund and listener tasks.

• Integrate with blockchain nodes and third-party APIs to monitor deposit and aggregation events.

• Maintain data consistency, idempotency mechanisms, error retries, and logging/monitoring.

• Write unit and integration tests, continuously optimizing service performance and stability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience with expertise in Golang and solid foundations in concurrency and memory management.

• Deep understanding of Go channels, goroutine scheduling, and select patterns, capable of writing non-blocking, high-concurrency logic.

• Proficiency in gRPC and Protobuf, with experience in inter-service communication and API design.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and other common components.

• Knowledge of the Web3/EVM ecosystem, with experience in wallets, aggregation, signing, and event listening is a plus.
