Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial records for multiple units, preferably within the food and beverage industry
  • Conduct margin edge analysis to identify areas for improvement and ensure profitability
  • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Understand and manage complex corporate structures and roll-up processes
  • Handle intercompany transfers, adjustments, and activities, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations
  • Post interest and principal payments for bank loans accurately and on time
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Provide administrative and project management support as needed


Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a multi-unit food and beverage environment
  • Minimum 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience required
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Advanced level proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise features and functionality required
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial structures and roll-up procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex intercompany transactions
  • Strong knowledge of US federal tax codes and federal law (required)
  • Ability to research and interpret state-specific financial regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Asana
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, and general bookkeeping
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to hire and support additional bookkeeping staff as needed
  • Must be comfortable working with timetrackers
  • Must have own working equipment (computer: atleast i5 and 8GB Ram, webcamera, and noise cancelling headset
