Description
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for timely payment processing.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing by preparing AP reports and reconciliations.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Utilize Excel for tracking, reconciling, and analyzing payment data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in accounts payable or general accounting support preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
