The General Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. They handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and assist in budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Prepare and file tax reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Verify accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit calculations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for financial efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience (CPA certification is a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
