We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior, Full Stack Engineer to join our team, with a specific focus on the industrial and power generation sector. This role is designed for an early-career professional who is passionate about building scalable, user-friendly web applications and has a strong foundation in full stack development. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the power sector, familiarity with AI product workflows, and experience working within Software Development Lifecycles (SDLCs).

This role requires proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Python, and GitHub, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with senior engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to develop solutions that support asset management, performance monitoring, and operational optimization in the power generation industry.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Development:

• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications using JavaScript, Python, an
• d SQL.Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces to support data visualization, analytics, and reporting for industrial and power generation use
• cases.Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration between front-end applications and back-end sy
• stems.Collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams to integrate data pipelines and AI models into web applica
• tions.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Industrial and Power Generation Focus:

• Gain an understanding of the power generation sector and its unique challenges, including asset management, performance monitoring, and operational optimization.
• Support the development of applications for real-time condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and equipment lifecycle tracking.
• Assist in building tools for heat rate analysis, efficiency calculations, and load factor analysis to improve operational performance.
• Contribute to the integration of applications with industrial data systems (e.g., SCADA, OPC, MES) and enterprise systems.

AI Product Workflows and SDLC:

• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate AI/ML models into web applications, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
• Participate in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Use GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
• Assist in the development of automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with engineers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that drive value.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing feedback.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in full stack development and the power generation sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in full-stack development or a related role (including internships and academic projects).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and SQL for both front-end and back-end development.
• Experience with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the power generation sector or related industries.
• Experience with AI/ML workflows and integrating AI models into applications.
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js (Quasar framework is a plus), ReactJS (Next.js framework), and modern styling libraries like Tailwind CSS.
• Background in back-end development using Node.js (NestJS framework is a plus) and Kotlin.
• Experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and non-relational databases is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and API development (REST & GraphQL).
• Understanding of industrial data systems (e.g., SCADA, OPC, MES) and their integration with web applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
