Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from inbound/outbound trucks, containers, or trailers.
• Transfer goods to/from storage areas, rack, shelves, or staging zones.
• Stack, organize, and store materials safely and in line with warehouse rules (e.g. height limits, weight distribution).
• Inspect forklifts daily (or at shift start) for mechanical faults (fluids, brakes, tires, etc.) and report any issues.
• Perform routine upkeep / minor maintenance tasks (cleaning, lubrication, etc.) on equipment.
• Maintain inventory records: record movement of goods, update stock logs, report discrepancies.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, undamaged, and conform to quality standards. Report variances.

Qualifications:

• Fit to work
• High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred)
• Valid certification or license in forklift operation.
• Prior experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment (often 6 months to a few years)
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings (preferred)
