GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance Manager for Transformation is responsible for driving enterprise-wide financial transformation initiatives, ensuring effective cost management, strategic financial planning, and risk mitigation. This role will oversee regional and segment Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting, lead finance shared services transformation, and implement process improvements from planning to execution. By optimizing financial processes and controls, the Finance Transformation Manager ensures that financial operations align with business objectives, enhancing overall efficiency and profitability.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certification is a plus.
Related Work Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial management, financial planning, or finance transformation.
- Proven track record in leading finance process improvements and driving transformation within a shared services or
multinational environment.
- Experience in cost center management, P&L reporting, and strategic financial planning.
Knowledge (knowledgeable in the following):
- In-depth understanding of cost allocation methodologies, financial reporting standards, and strategic planning frameworks.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools.
- Familiarity with financial risk management practices and regulatory compliance.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data.
- Leadership and change management skills to drive finance transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to implement process automation and digital transformation within finance operations.
Certifications/Regulatory Requirements (if any)
- CPA, CFA, or any relevant financial certification is preferred but not required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Cost Center Management
Spearhead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide cost-centering framework to ensure accurate cost attribution, enhance financial transparency, and optimize resource allocation across the organization.
2. Regional and Segment Profit & Loss Reporting
Oversee the preparation, standardization, and analysis of regional and segment-level P&L reports in order to provide leadership with actionable insights to drive profitability and business growth.
3. Strategic Planning
Lead the strategic financial planning process by collaborating with business leaders to define financial objectives in order to align financial strategies with corporate goals and long-term growth plans.
4. Financial Planning and Forecasting
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including scenario modeling and variance analysis to provide accurate financial projections that support informed decision-making.
5. Risk Management
Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks that could impact business performance.
6. Finance Shared Services Transformation
Lead the transformation of finance shared services by identifying process inefficiencies, implementing automation, and standardizing financial operations to enhance efficiency, improve accuracy, and drive operational excellence within the finance function.
