We are seeking a Finance Business Partner with strategic vision, business insight, and financial modeling expertise to join the CEX Core Business Support team. As the finance representative, you will partner with frontline business functions (such as trading, growth, product, and token economics) to drive budget planning, cost optimization, commercial model analysis, and business strategy development. This role demands not only a strong command of financial logic but also a deep understanding of exchange profit models, token incentive mechanisms, and user behavior metrics, providing quantitative support for high-quality decision-making in a dynamic market environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Support and Strategic Analysis
• Develop an in-depth understanding of core exchange business modules (spot, derivatives, platform token, staking, etc.) and build financial analysis models to support business growth and product optimization;
• Assist business teams in establishing and monitoring annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and resource allocation plans;
• Analyze key metrics including revenue composition, cost attribution, token incentive efficiency, and user lifetime value (LTV);
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and ROI analyses for new products, markets, and campaigns;
• Track business line P&L and establish “Business Unit P&L” models to enhance financial transparency.
2. Token Economics and Incentive Modeling
• Evaluate the usage and economic impact of platform tokens or incentive tokens across business modules;
• Assist in designing token distribution and burning mechanisms, quantifying their effects on fees, user behavior, and platform revenue;
• Build “Token Consumption – Incentive Cost – ROI” models to measure incentive returns;
• Provide financial assessments and launch recommendations for marketing, ecosystem, and growth department incentive programs.
3. Cross-Department Collaboration and Process Enhancement
• Collaborate with business, data, marketing, risk, and legal teams to integrate a financial perspective into business processes;
• Optimize finance’s involvement in business approvals, budget allocation, and fund utilization;
• Contribute to the development of financial BP analytical systems, business dashboards, and visualization tools.
4. Data-Driven Insights
• Partner with data analytics teams to deliver structured business metric analyses, correlating financial outcomes with business behaviors;
• Identify financial variables underlying operational challenges and provide actionable optimization recommendations to management;
• Drive the integration of financial data with business metrics (e.g., trading volume, fee rates, user engagement) to enhance forecasting capabilities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Financial Engineering, Business Analysis, Economics, or a related field;
• Over 5 years of experience in financial or business analysis, including at least 2 years in the virtual assets industry, internet/fintech sector, or a high-growth organization;
• Solid experience as a Finance Business Partner in budget management, business modeling, and P&L analysis;
• Familiarity with virtual asset trading structures, exchange profit models, and token incentive mechanisms is a plus;
• Proficiency in building and interpreting multidimensional financial and business models; advanced Excel and SQL skills, with experience in Power BI, Looker, or Tableau preferred;
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, with proven cross-functional collaboration ability, business acumen, and driving force.
