Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and be hands-on in managing the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions — GL, AR, AP, and inventory costing.

• Ensure statutory compliance, tax governance, and internal controls are well maintained.

• Manage cash flow, treasury, banking, and capital expenditure.

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in accordance with MFRS.

• Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts, including bank, supplier, and intercompany balances for 6 companies for audit purpose

• Maintain and enhance accounting systems (SQL / AutoCount or equivalent).

• Develop SOPs for finance operations to improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of six accounting staff to ensure high performance and accuracy.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Marketing teams for coordinated financial management.

• Report directly to the Financial Controller on financial status and business performance.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.

• Minimum 5–8 years of working experience in financial management reporting and 5 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably with audit experience.

• Strong technical knowledge in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and cash flow management.

• Experience in WHT, SST, and e-invoice submission is required.

• Experience in e-commerce, trading, or retail industry is a strong advantage.

• Proficient in accounting software (SQL / AutoCount) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling).

• Meticulous, analytical, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
