• We are a fast-growing startup seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations. You will be responsible for building and optimizing financial systems, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support growth. This hands-on role involves streamlining accounting, payroll, inventory tracking, and financial reporting while developing scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, invoicing, payroll, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
• Oversee payroll processing for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manage payroll tax filings, sales tax reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting models.
• Establish and maintain cost accounting for inventory valuation.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and generate financial reports.
• Work with leadership to develop scalable financial strategies.
• Implement best practices for risk management and process improvement.

• CPA Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8+ years of financial management experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Experience working with foreign companies and navigating international financial considerations.
• Strong references required to demonstrate expertise in financial leadership, compliance, and process improvement.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
• Track record of implementing financial systems, automating processes, and optimizing workflows.
• Experience with inventory management and cost accounting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to make data-driven financial decisions and drive business growth.
