Key Responsibilities

Environmental Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, ISO 14001).
• Monitor waste management, emissions, hazardous materials handling, and environmental permits.
• Conduct environmental audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Lead sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and pollution prevention programs.

Health & Safety Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure safe work practices.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage emergency response plans, including fire drills, spill response, and evacuation procedures.
• Provide safety training and education programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Maintain safety documentation, metrics, and compliance records.

Leadership & Culture

• Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees in hazard identification and safety improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, HR, engineering, maintenance) to integrate ESH principles into daily operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders on ESH matters.

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement - Completed College Education
• Good working knowledge of English (read, write & speak with ease.
• At least 3 years of experience in ESH of a manufacturing company.

Desirable/Preferable:

• Licensed Chemical Engineer, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• Knowledgeable in Integrated Management System.
• In-depth knowledge on Philippines ESH Laws.
