Job Description:

1. Due Diligence Program Quality Assurance Proofreads and edits due diligence (“DD”) reports for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and diction

  • Conducts intermittent spot checks by conducting quick research on the name of a report Subject or Entity to ensure the findings are comprehensive
  • Screens for substantive problems involving misinterpretation of facts, or misleading or confusing language
  • Diagnose content quality and escalate to Senior Editor poor reporting for troubleshooting with Analyst and Team Leader (“TL”) involved
  • Ensures formatting, reporting language, and scoping of due diligence reports is consistent and meets established standards
  • Provides feedback to Analysts and their respective TLs to ensure that all assigned PSA reports meet the ‘ready for client’ standard
  • Acts to ensure that substandard reports are not released to Clients by directing the Analyst to make appropriate amendments, or in exceptional circumstances, to make substantial amendments to the report itself
  • Working in close collaboration with the operational leadership team (Operations (“Ops”) Head, Senior Editor, and TLs) to ensure DD product scope is appropriate to Client needs and price points

2. Training and Development

  • Provides feedback to TLs on writing or analytical issues among Analysts
  • Provides training support to new team members, including on scoping guidelines, risk definitions, and writing style guidance
  • Communicates observations to the Senior Editor, TLs, and Ops Manager on analyst performance and areas for remediation

3. Due Diligence Product Development

  • Disseminates reporting guidelines and templates to Analysts in close collaboration with the operational leadership team
  • Assists with ongoing DD product review to adapt to evolving market conditions and Client behavior
  • Assists with devising reporting templates and guidelines to improve or better implement reporting policies
  • Assists Ops Manager with curating sample reports to reflect current offering

4. Others

  • Proofreads entries posted on the PSA Wiki to ensure accuracy of data and communicates significant issues to the Senior Editor
  • Provides as-needed/time-permitting editing support to the Group in areas outside OSI/EDD program, including investigations and marketing projects

Recruitment process: Initially there will be an exam, psychological interview, final panel interview as part of the hiring process. In addition, PSA is currently on a hybrid setup. Candidates should be prepared to work five days a week on-site at the office, which is in Makati. We require an editor who resides within the metro to alleviate the burden of long-distance transportation. This is a strict requirement for the position.
