Description
- Dishwashing: Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware by hand or using dishwashing machines.
- Cleaning: Ensure all kitchenware is properly sanitized and cleaned to meet health and safety standards.
- Organization: Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in their designated areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, making sure they are in good working condition.
- Trash and Waste Management: Dispose of trash, recyclables, and food waste in a timely manner.
- Assisting Kitchen Staff: Help kitchen staff by retrieving clean dishes, utensils, and supplies as needed.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep dishwashing area clean and free of debris; clean the floors, counters, and walls around the dishwashing area.
- Stocking Supplies: Replenish kitchen supplies, such as soap, detergent, and paper towels.
- Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Additional Tasks: Assist with other tasks as directed by supervisors or kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
