Job Description
- Drives vehicle for official travel and delivers parcel, packages and other items to different addresses and routes.
- Assists in loading and unloading of parcel, packages and other items on/off delivery vehicles.
- Ensure the road worthiness of the assigned vehicle daily prior to departure.
- Reports any observed abnormalities of vehicle to Fleet Coordinator.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Observes traffic rules and regulations at all times.
- Follow instructions of superiors and communicates directly to Logistic Coordinator concerning delivery of goods and items to avoid delayed shipments to customers/clients.
- Reports any untoward incidents/accidents immediately to Fleet Coordinator for assessment and proper handling.
- Accomplish Incident Report (IR) if necessary.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time.
