Job Description
- Material Preparation: Select and prepare materials for cutting, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Cutting Techniques: Utilize advanced cutting techniques and tools to achieve precise shapes and sizes.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished cuts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and production teams to understand project requirements and provide input on feasibility.
- Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate cutting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Training: Mentor and train junior cutters, sharing techniques and best practices to enhance team skills.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a cutter in a relevant industry
- Strong knowledge of cutting techniques and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
