Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to phone and email queries
• Preparation of full cycle of volume payroll processing - monthly and end of month payroll, superannuation and tax payments
• Create and maintain orderly payroll records
• Reporting including Single Touch Payroll reconciliation
• Administer monthly commission reporting
• Accounts Payable function - entering and processing Corporate invoices into Xero
• Process employee expense reimbursement claims
• Ensure timely communication with relevant stakeholders in respect to processing queries
• Develop good working relationships with all suppliers, customers and stakeholders
• Maintain data in relevant computer systems and other databases – Excel, Xero and HR3
• Adhere to business processing guidelines
• Ensure month-end business processes are completed within desired timeframes
• Assistance with Financial Year End audit

Qualifications and Experience

• Accounting degree or proven accounting skills
• Customer service skills
• Accurate data-entry skills
• Good eye for detail
• Database Management
• Strong knowledge in technologies including MS Office (Excel pivot tables strongly desired)
• Willing to learn accounting (Xero) and payroll (HR3) software
• Demonstrated payroll experience - desirable
• Knowledge of superannuation and tax legislation - desirable
• Knowledge of BCMax – desirable
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot tables
