Job Description

Membership Coordinator with light Marketing/Community skills


Role Purpose

Support the launch and ongoing management of a tiered membership program for a nonprofit serving Muslim healthcare professionals. This person will own the member experience from onboarding to retention while keeping operations organized behind the scenes.


Core Responsibilities

  • Manage member registrations across all tiers
  • Oversee onboarding (welcome emails, resources, access to benefits)
  • Maintain and update the membership database/CRM
  • Track renewals, upgrades, and cancellations


Member Experience

  • Serve as the first point of contact for member inquiries
  • Coordinate training sessions, webinars, and events
  • Ensure each tier receives its promised benefits
  • Collect feedback to improve retention


Program Coordination

  • Support rollout of the membership program
  • Help structure workflows and processes
  • Coordinate communications to members


Administrative Support

  • Calendar coordination for trainings
  • Vendor or speaker coordination
  • Payment tracking support
  • Documentation and SOP creation


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience supporting a nonprofit, association, or membership-based organization
  • Strong organizational and process-building skills
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Excellent written communication
  • Experience with CRMs, email platforms, and event tools
  • Bonus: Healthcare association exposure or advocacy groups
