The Cloud Administration and Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of the company's cloud infrastructure. This includes ensuring scalability, security, and availability while leading cloud development initiatives and driving continuous improvements in cloud services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cloud Strategy Definition Develop and implement cloud architecture best practices, optimizing services for scalability and performance.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and seamless scalability.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resources for budget efficiency.
• Security Compliance: Implement security measures to protect cloud resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cloud engineers, providing guidance and fostering skill development to align with organizational goals.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers, ensuring service levels and addressing performance issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cloud trends and drive improvements in systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to quality and compliance standards as part of our Information Security Management System. This includes following documented processes, participating in continuous improvement, and maintaining accurate records. Each team member is responsible for supporting a safe, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Cloud Administration and Development Manager is accountable for the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud operations. They lead the strategy for multi-cloud architecture, manage cloud infrastructure, and develop a high-performing cloud team. Additionally, they drive cloud security initiatives and cost-optimization strategies aligned with business goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management or related roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• At least 2 years in a leadership role managing cloud teams.
• Familiarity with cloud security protocols and cost optimization strategies.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) and ITIL Foundation certification are a plus.
Work-Setup: Hybrid
