Claims Specialist

Job Description
- Receive and log incoming claim documents and ensure proper filing and organization.
- Encode claim details accurately into the claims management system.
- Assist in the preparation and dispatch of claims-related correspondence (emails, letters, follow-ups).
- Monitor the status of submitted claims and update records accordingly.
- Coordinate with clients and providers regarding missing or additional documents.
- Support claims examiners in compiling documentation for review and audit.
- Maintain organized and updated digital and physical claim files.
- Assist in generating reports related to claims processing and turnaround times.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Claims Supervisor.
- Graduate of any business-related or administrative course.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in administrative support (preferably in healthcare or insurance).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
