This position will involve working on various water supply and/or land development projects primarily involving planning, hydraulic modeling, and design development. You will be mentored by a lead water engineer that has been working in the water industry for more than a decade. The projects that you will be involved with range from city/urban infrastructure planning, mixed-use land development design, and industrial developments.

We are looking for an applicant that is adaptable to various software tools such as spreadsheets (Excel), GIS, Google Earth, EPANET, WaterGEMS (or any hydraulic analysis program).

Key Reponsibilities:

• Develop design of water network systems, working through all design phases: Schematic, Conceptual, Detailed Design, and Pre-Construction
• Perform hydraulic modelling and analysis using software tools such as EPANET, WaterGEMS / WaterCAD, etc
• Develop and document supporting design calculations using spreadsheets
• Draft network layouts and other necessary drawings/figures using AutoCAD, GIS, Google Earth
• Draft technical design reports and organize key insights and recommendations for client presentation
• Assist lead water engineer in site visits, client meetings and presentations

Qualifications:

• Licensed Civil Engineer. Applicant must be willing to be trained, be proactive in learning, and committed to deliver quality work.
