Duties and Responsibilities

  • Elicit requirements for software development; document, analyze, and evaluate gathered requirements.
  • Work out deliverables such as Functional Requirements (BRD), Use Cases, GUI, Screen, and Interface designs.
  • Translate technical information into business language to ensure understanding by both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
  • Support the Project Manager and team members in planning deliverables, scope, schedule, and other project aspects.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead BA role.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proven experience in creating BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Process Flows, Wireframes, and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, including interpreting customer business needs and translating them into operational requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Figma, or equivalents.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Leadership experience with strong facilitation, negotiation, and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel for business engagements as required.
  • Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement (3x onsite, 2x WFH weekly).
