Job Description

The Senior Developer (Power Platform and SharePoint) is responsible for developing, coordinating, and architecting all activities related to the development of Power Platform and SharePoint, including integration with existing applications and third-party solutions. She/he is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Power Platform and SharePoint application systems in operation. This includes identifying and troubleshooting any application issues, resolving or escalating them as needed. Additionally, She/he will assist in gathering requirements, building business cases, and estimating effort for enhancements of existing solutions. She/he will report to designated International Staff and/or senior National Staff.

  • Bachelor's degree or tertiary-level institute diploma/certificate, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or Computer Science-related courses, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience with Power Platform and SharePoint (architecture, development, rollout, maintenance, data management, migration)
  • Hands-on experience architecting solutions involving server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies, and plug-ins


Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience with the following:
  • Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages)
  • SharePoint Development Framework (SPFx)
  • Server-Side and Client-Side Object Model
  • Plugins and Custom Workflow Development
  • .NET Programming Model
  • C# Programming Model
  • In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with:
  • Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages)
  • .NET, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS, FabricJS, jQuery), HTML, CSS, REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL, and other database engines
  • C# or Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Web Services, and the CRM SDK


Other Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability in solution or enterprise architecture
  • Experience in requirement analysis and business process re-engineering
  • Prior experience in agile methodologies (experience in product management)
  • Ability to solve complex technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge
  • Ability to operate at advanced levels of authority and manage significant activities and resources to produce and take responsibility for results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate with colleagues at multiple levels, within own work location and throughout the Bank
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills (ability to work with others to achieve more effective results)
  • Strong conceptualization skills (developing viable solutions based on an understanding of institutional perspective and needs)
  • Experience managing teams or others in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
