Audit Officer/Internal Auditor

Job Description
- Plan, direct and oversee the execution of internal audit projects to assess the effectiveness of control systems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead a team of auditors and provide coaching and mentorship to develop their skills and expertise
- Prepare detailed audit reports that communicate findings, recommendations, and action plans
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress towards resolving identified issues
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, preferably within a large, complex organisation
- Extensive knowledge of audit principles, practices and risk management frameworks
- Proven track record of leading audit teams and projects to successful outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and formulate pragmatic solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to present audit findings and recommendations effectively
- Relevant professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable
