The Accounting/Administrative Assistant supports daily office operations by handling accounting tasks, customer documentation, and general administrative duties. This role helps maintain accurate financial records, efficient workflow, and strong customer service in a fast-paced auto repair environment.
Responsibilities include processing customer invoices and payments, managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing daily deposits, assisting with bank reconciliations, maintaining financial and service records, supporting payroll and timekeeping, answering phones, scheduling appointments, ordering office and shop supplies, and coordinating paperwork with technicians and shop management.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred, basic knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or auto shop management software, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication and customer service abilities.
