- Receive, review, and record vendor invoices in the accounting system, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders and receiving documents. Address and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and execute payments through checks or electronic transfers while monitoring due dates to prevent late payment penalties.
- Reconcile vendor statements and account balances regularly to maintain accuracy and investigate inconsistencies.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents for easy reference and compliance.
- Ensure all invoices are properly authorized, coded, and recorded, and assist in analyzing expense reports to support cost management.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment issues and respond to billing-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
