- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Performing routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports
- Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Ensuring compliance with organizational and financial regulations and policies
- Assisting with tax return preparation
- Performing administrative tasks as needed
