The person in this role will be responsible for a wide range of essential accounting duties, including:

  • Maintaining Accurate Financial Records:
  • Keeping the main accounting books (general ledger) up-to-date and accurate.
  • Performing monthly checks and balances (reconciliations) for bank accounts and other financial records.
  • Making sure all records follow company rules and major accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Managing Cash Flow (A/P & A/R):
  • Supervising the entire process for paying company bills (Accounts Payable).
  • Actively managing and following up with clients to ensure the company receives money owed on time (Accounts Receivable).
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Helping to create the main financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Analyzing financial data to explain differences between actual results and what was planned (variance reports) for management to use in decision-making.
  • Supporting the creation of company budgets and future financial forecasts.
  • Tax and Compliance:
  • Preparing and filing all necessary government taxes and reports (VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.).
  • Ensuring the company always follows legal requirements, internal financial controls, and is ready for audits.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervising, mentoring, and training any junior accounting staff.
  • Working closely with other departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to handle financial matters across the organization.


Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: A strong background with 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
  • Expertise: A solid history of managing the general ledger, preparing financial reports, and performing complex reconciliations.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with various financial reporting software.
  • Certification (Preferred): A professional certification like CPA, CMA, or ACCA (or actively working toward one) is a strong plus.
  • Location: Muntinlupa City. Fully Onsite.
