Position Summary:

The position is responsible for being the center of knowledge for all matters boiler (and auxiliaries) in support of operations and maintenance for the combined power plant assets and shall play a key role in planning, designing, and implementing the asset management plans and policies relating to the boiler (and auxiliaries) systems. The post holder will provide expert boiler (and auxiliaries) knowledge for day to day matters outside the capability of the site teams and during inspections, overhauls, plant failure situations and in optimizing the approach for the full range of

maintenance philosophies at the plant sites. The post-holder will be expected to significantly contribute to resolution of technical issues inhibiting flexible plant performance and in proposing plant improvement options.

Competencies:

• Expert in steam boilers and auxiliaries
• CFB Boilers (conventional boiler knowledge is an advantage)
• Failure mechanism analysis and prevention
• Steam pipework integrity management and RBI
• Thorough understanding of Power Plant Technology

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 10 years Boiler and Auxiliary specialist experience ideally gained from CFB technology
• 5 years leadership experience
• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably PRC licensed
