Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data architectures.
Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data issues, providing solutions to address business questions and identify improvement opportunities.
Build processes supporting data transformation, metadata management, dependency management, and workload orchestration.
Collaborate with product teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and alignment with business requirements.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to develop solutions that manage large, complex datasets.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or Data Operations role.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, data workflows and data architectures.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, particularly AWS services such as Redshift, EC2, RDS, and S3.
Familiarity with data integration tools such as AWS Glue, Informatica, and Talend.
Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, etc. for data engineering tasks.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently and in teams.
Strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of data processes
Willing to work onsite (4x a week onsite, once a week remote) from our client 's office in Pasay on a day shift under an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.
Willing to start work immediately.
