Primary Position Objectives

The role of the Associate Architect is to create design and development processes for the architectural and master planning projects. He/she monitors the progress of the process, while also contributing in the leg work of the design. The Associate Architect for Cebu Team develops, organizes, and reviews plans, ensuring that a project meets all safety and environmental standards ensuring the integration of the Palafox brand on environmental sustainability.

Duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive management and key project stakeholders to establish project objectives, standards and key resources.
• Manage the planning and design process, modifying project initiatives and coordinating developments for the plans.
• Work on multiple projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
• Review architectural drawings for national and local code compliance and according to terms and conditions of contract.
• Coordination of the project team’s work
• Monitor the progress of all assigned phases per project
• Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, etc.
• Responsible for project schedule and budget.
• Build and maintain client relations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BS Architecture) from a recognized institution
• Licensed Architect (PRC license required)
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, drafting, and project man
• agementExperience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects (depending on the firm’s specialization)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other 3D modeling software
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Lumion, or V-Ray for rendering is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, working drawings, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate with clients, engineers, and contractors
• Willing to work onsite in our Cebu Office: Taft East Gate Building, Cardinal Rosales Avenue, Cebu City
