About the role

The Assistant Manager – Procurement role is responsible for bid requirements, vendor management and request for quotation.


Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze bid requirement and rate procurement to shipping lines, airlines, carriers and other local Philippine vendors.
  • Supports on local request for quotation requirements by Commercial Team.
  • Conducts bid, meetings and requirements.
  • Vendor management and relationship
  • Maintains rate database and guideline rate.
  • Conducts business review and Key Performance Indicator meetings with vendors.
  • Analyzes and provides technical aspects of customer requirements.
  • Liaises with oversee networks/ agents and offices.
  • Assists with customer service on customer relation activities.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics or any four-year Business-related course
  • With 5- year experience in logistics, transportation or freight forwarding industry, tenders such as freight, pricing, rate negotiation and in operations management International Freight Forwarding with customs clearance and delivery
  • With good communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
