Descrição:

The Tax Supervisor - Local Compliance will be responsible for overseeing compliance with local tax laws and ordinances.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and review day-to-day assessments of local business tax, real property tax, and other regulatory fees
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to local government units (LGUs) and compliance with all local tax obligations
  • Oversee the timely acquisition of business permits, clearances, and certificates required for operations
  • Review and validate summary reports for the filing and payment of all local taxes and regulatory fees
  • Maintain accurate records of all local tax-related activities to support compliance and audits
  • Monitor the opening of new locations, ensuring full compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements before business commencement
  • Oversee the retirement of business registrations and permits for closed locations, ensuring no outstanding tax liabilities


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of bachelor’s degree in business or accountancy, or any relevant field
  • With at least two (2) years of relevant work experience in tax compliance
  • Knowledge of local tax laws, ordinances, and practices in the Philippines
