Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Specialist with at least 1 year of solid experience in collections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances, maintaining positive relationships with clients, and supporting the company’s cash flow goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activity in the system.
  • Work with internal teams (sales, billing, customer service) to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Process payments and update account statuses.
  • Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-off when appropriate.
  • Meet daily and monthly collection goals and KPIs.
  • Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients to ensure continued positive business relationships.
  • Generate aging reports and support month-end closing activities.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:

  • B2B collections experience.
  • Knowledge of credit and collections regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in high-volume environments.
